PurpleScraps was created and designed for the purpose of sharing and informing others about Scrapbooking and scrapbook related topics.  PurpleScraps was created by Nikki Horton after spending 5 years as an At Home Mum.  I am a creative and very organised person who loves to make and design things.

Since the commencement of this site in February 2004, we have developed a very enjoyable community, sharing not only our addiction of Scrapbooking, but other interests common to women and scrappers alike, including Children's Issues, Women Issues, Gardening, Cooking Area etc.  2005 saw the implementation of our Gallery to share layouts and inspire each other.  Throughout the following years we have continued to grow into an even more wonderful community with many great friendships being formed.  We are looking forward to sharing our future with you and we plan to continue to grow and bring you more new and exciting experiences.

We even have our very own PURPLESCRAPS ARCADE, Our Mini On-line Shopping Centre.

We are an Australian based site, originated in Tasmania, but with the wide world of internet our information and ideas are readily available to anyone all over the world, wherever you may be, everyone welcome.   I am always happy to meet any local ladies, and have had many visits from our interstate members alike when in our state of Tassie.

 Welcome to PurpleScraps, this site was created to help our family by putting my creative abilities to the test.  I love Purple, and love anything crafty.  I live in Tasmania, Australia, am married to a wonderful man with three children.  Littlest of which is Mikey, the star of many of my layouts.  I have been scrapbooking since just after Mikey's birth and have learnt so much in that time.  I now have a lot to share.  I hope you all enjoy my site, and gain some handy tips from myself and my wonderful members, of which I hope you become one.

Of course, we all share a little bit of a love for all things Purple, so please come join our Purple World. A little bit of Purple goes a long way to bringing a smile to brighten up your day.
